Ciao bella! I’m Gina Joy, your colorful chaos captain, glitter enthusiast, and firm believer that joy is not optional—it’s essential. I started Love Laugh Laundry because I wanted to bottle up the wild, wonderful ride I’ve been on and share it with you—with honesty, heart, and a whole lotta humor.
A Life Lived Out Loud
Born into a Sicilian-American family, I grew up speaking two languages and eating enough pasta to fuel a small village. My childhood was rich in love, loud in volume, and full of stories—something that never left me. I've always been a performer at heart. I trained as an opera singer until vocal nodules took my voice, but I never lost my song.
Now, I channel that passion into dance, crafts, garden adventures, and making up ridiculous songs with my five-year-old son. Yes, I became a mom at 40—and it’s the best thing that ever happened to me.
A Marriage That’s Weathered the Storm
My husband and I have been together for nearly 20 years. He was deployed to Iraq just after we tied the knot (talk about a honeymoon delay), and we’ve been through just about everything life could throw at us since. Two miscarriages, grief from the loss of my beloved brother, home renovations that made me want to scream into a pillow... and yet here we are. Still laughing. Still dancing in the kitchen.
